Lifesaving Society Swim for Life Program
Lessons offered: Parent & Tot (4 months - 3 years), Preschool (3 years - 5 years) and Waterloo Splash 1-11 (5 years +)
This season we are pleased to be offering the Lifesaving Society Swim for Life Program. This is the same program being used by the City of Waterloo so transitioning to lessons during the fall , winter and spring will be easier.
About the Program
The Lifesaving Society Swim for Life program focuses on in-water practice to develop strong swimming strokes and skills. The program also incorporates valuable Water Smart® education that will last a lifetime.
Lessons at BPHA
To register for Waterloo Splash 1, children must be able to comfortably touch the bottom of the pool in the shallow end (chin out of the water). If they are not able to touch, they will need to have adult in the water with them.
All other levels can be determined using the Lifesaving Society Swim for Life level conversion chart. If you are still unsure about what level to register your child in, please speak with the facility manager or one of the assistant managers to arrange a swim evaluation before the session begins.
How to register?
Registration will open on March 1, 2024 and will be available through RegPack.
